In front of an office building is the disastrously dressed Zhou Luoluo, who appears to be subconsciously raising his hand to part his hair some more, as he looks longingly at the shemale exiting the building.

“Ah, Lu Nianqian, you’re off work,” Zhou Luoluo approaches with his best ‘appropriate’ smile, and ends up ignored by the shemale named Lu Nianqian entirely.

Zhou Luoluo’s expression very clearly darkens for a moment before following suit, “Lu Nianqian Lu Nianqian! At least give me a reaction!”

Lu Nianqian stops and, pestered, rubs his temples, “mister, can you stop following me I’m forty and you’re fifteen.

Do you think that’s appropriate”

“Of course! Why wouldn’t it be!” Zhou Luoluo is still in hot pursuit, so Lu Nianqian hurries his way to a vehicle waiting not far ahead of him, completely leaving Zhou Luoluo on his own behind.

In the car, another shemale, dressed in a suit of the season’s most fabulous red, is laughing at Lu Nianqian’s expense, “yo da-ge, why the merciless treatment Finally a male has his eyes on you.”

“Just shut up.

How’s dad” Lu Nianqian swats away the shemale in a suit, whose hands are pawing at him, “Lu Su! Settle down!”

The shemale named Lu Su rolls his eyes at the question, “what else could he be but continuing to be oversensitive and still dreaming the day he ‘cleaned up’ all of father’s past concubines and children… Say, if it wasn’t for granddad, he’d be exiled equally, too.

Why wouldn’t he just simmer down” Lu Su tilts his head, puzzled, “father has been dead for sixteen, I mean seventeen years.

Oh, and if I’m my remembering wrong, a shemale concubine left with an egg, too; if the egg lived, he must be sixteen now,” Lu Su is now sprawled at the back of the vehicle, while postulating, “hey, he might be that male trying to court you!”

Lu Nianqian’s veins are popping, “first, that exiled egg wasn’t a male.

Dad went to investigate as soon as they reached the landfill planet.

It’s a shemale.

Second, Zhou Luoluo has family background; his father is also alive and well.”

“Just kidding,” Lu Su shrugs and shuts up, which is just well enough as Lu Nianqian could also do with some shut-eye.

Not that he could shut it for long, because Lu Su is suddenly going ‘wowie.’

“Lu! Su!”

Ignoring Lu Nianqian’s outrage, Lu Su points his holodeck at Lu Nianqian, “I was going through your little lovebird’s page.

Look at this,” he points to a social media post from back in May, that in summary, talks about how he read a very depressing comic at his friend’s today.

He won’t spoil a thing, but he’ll be grabbing popcorn the day it’s released to watch everyone else bullied to the point of tears.

“It was just over a month after that ‘In a Tiny Flicker’ was released.

Do you think…”

“Impossible,” Lu Nianqian shuts that possibility immediately, “males would only ever call other males ‘friend.’ You’re suggesting a male wrote ‘In a Tiny Flicker’ Have you finally lost it or have I”

Lu Nianqian didn’t search for the comic himself, but back then, many of his coworkers, from the shemales to the demis, were all having swollen eyes, and apparently all having read the comic.

So Lu Nianqian read it to see what was making his employees unproductive, but found himself so absorbed, unable to snap back to reality for even quite some time after he has finished it.

When near the climax, he wasn’t proud to admit that even he almost cried reading it.

He then decided to read the rest of the comics the comic artist has posted, and then showered him with gifts.

He believes he can see a wounded shemale or demi behind the name of the anonymous account, leaning towards demi, for how expressive and effective the emotional moments were.

“… Oh, right,” Lu Su scratches his head, ending the matter.

What they do not know, is that the Zhou Luoluo they abandoned behind him, is currently complaining in tears to the comic artist in question, “uwah! I don’t think I can go on much longer.

How can he do this to me! I think I’m losing my hope in love.”

“Ah, you can be more sure of yourself.

It sounds like you never had a chance in the first place.

How can you lose hope when there was never any in the first place” Cheng Zhaoci listens unsympathetically as Zhou Luoluo erupts in cries.

Meanwhile, Cheng Zhaoci is looking up at the bedsheets he just hung up on his balcony.

On the one hand, he now finally has some idea about how to work the plot of that little love story, on the other, he doesn’t find himself cheered up in the slightest.

Because he is no longer clean.

He’s dirty.

His mind is dirty.

Even though he hasn’t had as vivid a fantasy anymore after that one, damnable, night, but he cannot deny that that fantasy was conjured up in his mind at one point.
